Jenda is a wondrous and difficult-to-access Rhodopean area. There are numerous little villages on its ridges, which still do not have electricity and roads nowadays. Some of the most interesting are Ioz Mahala, Panichkovo and Jenda. You can see incredible rock phenomena all around, as well as remains of ancient fortresses and sanctuaries with rock niches. Another pride of the region is the large number of red deer, deer, stags, wild boars and muflons, whose usual places of habitat are in rough, rocky terrains. Jenda is one of the best places in the country for photo-hunting.
