The Blessed Virgin Presentation Monastery is situated in the town of Kalofer. It is a girls’ monastery, founded in 1738. In 1877 it was destroyed by the Turks, and after the Bulgarian Liberation it was restored. The church, where some old icons have been preserved, is situated in the monastery yard, in the middle of a lovely garden with flowers and trees.
