The Kamenshtitsa Reserve has preserved the natural richness of the Middle Stara Planina. The relief here is roughly cut and rocky, and this is most obviously observed in the canyon of the Enina River , which crosses the reserve in the middle. The passing along the river-bed is a real challenge, which will reveal to you the marvelous beauty of the canyon. The most interesting representative of the varied animal world here is the brown bear, who gets excellent life conditions in the reserve.
