Dospat is the name of the area spreading to the west of the town of Dospat. The area is covered with splendid coniferous forests, full of game. There is not much displacement in the region, but the forests resemble a jungle. The greatest sight here is the Dospat Dam – a real sea inside the mountain. Its lovely shores are a favourite holiday place for thousands of tourists, fishermen and water sports lovers.
