The mountain chain Bezdiven has stored precious beauty. Along with the ancient Thracian and medieval fortresses, dozens of small villages have been preserved upon the inaccessible rocks and peaks, where every house is a real stronghold with unique architecture. The slopes are steep and rocky at this side of the mountain, and nature has created a lot of weird shapes on the rocks – rock towers, archs, vertical walls and majestic canyons. The peaks of Bezdiven provide incredible panoramic views, most unforgetable the ones from Kaiabashi. Standing there, you can see within gunshot the deep canyons of Borovitsa and Arda, forming wondrous, incomparable meanders.
